Focus Trail is a family learning planner operated by Ricky Zheng. Parents manage children's plans, learning records and optional photos.
Trying the demo
Demo plans, edits and photos stay in this browser's local storage. They are not uploaded to a family account when you sign in. The hosting service still processes normal web requests to deliver the site.
Signing in
Clerk provides parent sign-in through Google or an email verification code. Google sign-in shares your basic profile, email address and account identifier with Clerk to authenticate you. Focus Trail uses your account identifier and verified email to manage access and family invitations. We do not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive or Google Photos.
Family data and photos
For signed-in families, Cloudflare stores family memberships, child profiles, learning plans, records, device permissions and uploaded photos. Photos are stored privately and access requires permission. Other parents you admit to your family can access its data. Paired child devices have limited access to the assigned child's published plans.
Your browser also stores account- and family-specific drafts to retry interrupted changes. Shared-device users should sign out and clear site data when appropriate; clearing site data removes unsent changes.
Use and sharing
We use this information to provide sign-in, planning, cloud sync, photo access and family sharing. Clerk and Cloudflare process information to provide authentication, hosting, storage and security. We do not sell family data or use Google account data for advertising. Connections use HTTPS and the service checks account and family permissions before providing cloud records or photos.
Retention and your choices
Learning records and completed photo uploads do not currently expire automatically. You can remove photos using the app's photo controls. Deletion markers and technical records may remain to keep synchronization consistent. Signing out, revoking Google access or deleting a Clerk login does not automatically erase family records. To request access, correction or deletion of cloud family/account information, contact ricky.zheng2@gmail.com; requests require verification of your authority over the affected data.
Children and changes
Parent accounts are intended for adults. Parents choose what information to enter about their children and which devices or family members may access it. Please upload only information you have permission to share. This page will be updated when the service's data practices change.
